We take allergy issues seriously and take all reasonable precautions to prevent cross-contamination.
While many of our products are contained in gravity dispensers, top closed bins and closed jars or sacks which helps reduce cross-contamination, we are not an allergen-free facility.
We strongly recommend against buying loose foods if you suffer from severe allergies. We would not be able to guarantee that no cross-contamination has occurred with our package-free products. That also means that the foods we sell in store could potentially contain trace amounts of allergens like nuts, gluten etc.
We display full list of ingredients for each product, and display separately all allergens as required by current laws and regulations.
You may be allergic or have intolerance to other ingredients, but only the 14 allergens are required to be declared as allergens by food law.
The 14 allergens are: celery, cereals containing gluten (such as barley and oats), crustaceans (such as prawns, crabs and lobsters), eggs, fish, lupin, milk, molluscs (such as mussels and oysters), mustard, peanuts, sesame, soybeans, sulphur dioxide and sulphites (if they are at a concentration of more than ten parts per million) and tree nuts (such as almonds, hazelnuts, walnuts, brazil nuts, cashews, pecans, pistachios and macadamia nuts).
If you have allergy for any products that are not on the list above, please, double check full list of ingredients. You can always contact us directly if in doubt.
When you order online we will display all required allergens on the packaging.
