Sesame seeds can be used to create an interesting black tahini and are also pretty when used to decorate Asian dishes with their white counterpart.
In cooking, black sesame first used in Asian countries, being added to sweets and halva. A pleasant-tasting paste was made from it, it had a sweet notes, despite the fact that sesame has a slightly bitter aftertaste.
