HOW TO ENJOY

The effect of maca can be seen only with prolonged use - more than 21 days. The plant does not cause side effects and can be used on a permanent basis. But you need to introduce it into the diet gradually. Follow the rules when taking maca: add this superpowder to chilled food (less than 40 ¡ C). In a hot dish, it will lose some of the nutritional values. Do not take maca at night. The optimal time to have it is the first half of the day, ideally in the morning. This is due to its powerful energizing effect, which can interfere with sleep.
Maca powder can be enjoyed in smoothies, porridge, energy bars, protein balls. There is no optimal dose established; however, some refer that it lies around 1.5-5 grams (1 tsp) per day. Its strong sweet taste blends well in a smoothie with almond milk, 1 teaspoon of cinnamon, 1 banana, and of course, 1 teaspoon of the super powder.
