Penne, the plural form of Italian penna (meaning feather and pen as well) is a cylinder shaped form of dry pasta. The ridges and bumps that are created during the extrusion process when the pasta enters the molds make it perfect for grasping sauce.

HOW TO ENJOY
In its classic shape, our penne dry pasta is ideal for serving with thick creamy or tomato-based sauces. Given its form, the sauces will easily cling into it- but make sure you do not rinse it unless you intend to use it in a salad or a delicious dry pasta bake it as rinsing dry pasta takes away the starch coating. Let it boil for around 7 minutes, depending on your taste.
