Tofu is a plant-based curd made from curdled soy milk. Soy milk is curdled by adding nigari, the salt obtained from seawater, precisely it is a by-product formed during the production of ordinary sea salt.

This artisan handmade GMO-free tofu is fresher, creamier, and lighter than most processed tofu.

In terms of the amount of protein, soybeans surpass fish, eggs, and beef. That is why tofu, a kind of "protein concentrate", is an ideal product for vegans, fasting people and generally adherents of a healthy diet.

Therefore, tofu dishes can vary a lot - sour, salty, spicy, sweet. Tofu goes well with very different ingredients, it can be stewed, fried, baked, boiled, marinated and added to salads, soups, desserts. For example, if tofu is smoked, it tastes almost indistinguishable from ham, and after mixing it with cocoa and sugar, it will make a wonderful creamy chocolate cream.
