Within the categories of pasta, couscous is made of small granules of wholemeal semolina flour. Typical of North-African cuisine, it goes through a long process of preparation and can also be made from wholewheat flour.
Whole wheat couscous is more nutritious that the white variety as it's made from whole wheat durum flour.

HOW TO ENJOY
Just like dry pasta and rice, our wholemeal couscous presents itself as a great complement to vegetables and/or meat. While usually associated with stew-like dishes, it can also be added to salads for an interesting take on a classic. Simply pour some couscous in a bowl and cover it with boiling water. Add some salt, spices of your taste and mix everything. Cover it with a plate and let it cook for 5-10 minutes.
